About RTS Training
Roots to Success (RTS Training) has been delivering training for around 7 years now, both nationally and internationally .
Intitially set up as a voluntary organisation, by David, in order to help individuals who wanted a better life, but who could not afford to fund the help themselves. David offered his advice, time and help free of charge as he felt he wanted to help as many people see that they can have a better future. He trained as a counsellor and worked very closely with people with stress and depression and more recently as a Bereavement Support worker with CRUSE Bereavement services. David also trained and delivered Suicide awareness workshops to support various teams working to reduce suicide rates.
While involved in voluteer work David was in full time employment, employed by International and national retailers as well as training companies in senior management positions, where he was able to utilise his 35 years experience of training and management skills, to improve and develop the skills of people from frontline staff to Managers.
David decided to use his skills and knowledge working with training companies as an associate trainer, delivering bespoke training as well as conducting TNAs (Training Needs Analysis) and CNAs ( Company Needs Analysis). David has also designed and delivered a number of training programmes for shopping centre customer service staff and security staff, which forms part of the RTS Training offer. As a result of the demand for Davids services , RTS was born.
David is a recognised and qualified trainer with the International Board of Certified Trainers, a member of the Royal Society for Public Health and has recently gained his advanced Diploma in Mindfulness and CBT ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) . He has gained over thirty five years experience of managing staff, designing and delivering training for companies such as M&S, Arcadia group, BT, Learn Direct, Connexions and Sector Skills Councils for Retail, Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure and worked with places like the Shard, LOROL ( London Overground Rail) Monarch Airlines, The Mail Box to name a few.
